Information we collect
AIMemo may collect the following information when you use the app or contact us:
- Account information, such as the email address used to sign in.
- Task information you create, including task text, notes, tags, dates, completion state, and sync metadata.
- Summary settings, free credit usage, login session information, and basic service logs.
- Support messages you send to us, including your contact details and the information you include in the request.
Current AIMemo mobile summary history is stored on your device. AIMemo does not need that local history to provide the hosted task sync service.
How we use information
We use information to provide account sign-in, sync tasks across devices, generate and refine AI summaries, manage free credits, maintain the service, prevent misuse, and respond to support requests.
AI processing
When you request an AI summary or refinement through hosted AIMemo services, selected task content, prompts, summary context, and related settings may be sent to AIMemo backend services and model providers so the requested output can be generated.
Do not enter sensitive personal, financial, health, legal, or confidential third-party information unless you are comfortable with that information being processed for the requested AI feature.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate AIMemo, including hosting, database, email delivery, and AI model providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate misuse.
Retention and deletion
Account and synced task information is retained while your account is active or as needed to provide AIMemo. You can delete your account from the app profile screen. Account deletion removes your account, hosted login sessions, synced tasks, tags, summary settings, and credit records associated with that account from active systems. Some backup, security, or legal records may remain for a limited period where necessary.
Local-only data on your device may also be removed by deleting the app or clearing app data on your device.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please keep your account access secure and contact us if you believe your account has been misused.
Your choices
You can choose what task content to enter, what content to include in AI summary generation, whether to use account sync, and whether to delete your account. You can contact support for privacy or account questions.
Children
AIMemo is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to AIMemo, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as AIMemo changes. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the latest version took effect.
